Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in law /CA/CS /Management.
- A professional certification as an "Insolvency Professional" is must.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the insolvency and bankruptcy industry, with a track record of successful business management and strategic decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of insolvency laws, bankruptcy codes, and regulatory requirements governing insolvency and restructuring processes and the compliances applicable on IPs and IPEs.
- Strong networking and communication skills with stakeholders in the IBC Domain.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, conflict resolution, and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
- Sound financial acumen and analytical skills to evaluate complex financial data, assess risks, and make informed business decisions.
Job Description:
As the Chief Executive Officer or Managing Director of an Insolvency Professional Entity (IPE), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations and strategic direction of the organization.
Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
- Setting and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and strategic goals in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Create business plan and initiate business development activities to explore opportunities to generate higher business to foster the organisations shared vision.
- Leading and overseeing all aspects of insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, including managing distressed assets, conducting negotiations with creditors and debtors, and facilitating resolution agreements.
- Planning and directing the financial and operational performance of the IPE, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including Banks, Financial creditors, Operational and other Creditors, Corporate Debtors, Valuers, Resolution Applicants, Interim Financers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations etc.
- Providing leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, including insolvency practitioners, lawyers, accountants, and support staff, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings.
- Monitoring market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
- Representing the organization in public forums, industry events, and media engagements to enhance its reputation and visibility in the market.
- Continuously evaluating and improving processes, systems, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and client service delivery.
- Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics in all interactions and transactions.
