Job description:
Design of injection mold plastics parts using CATIA V5 or NX parametric modelling. With Good command over GSD surface and solid modelling, assembly building and production drawing with GDnT.
Very good knowledge on manufacturing and assembly to handle DFMA and design guideline as well as standards.
Mandatory Skills:
Worked on New product development cycle of Automotive plastics part design
Well versed with Automotive plastics part design guidelines
Plastics part tooling knowledge.
Worked on car parts like headlamps, tail lamps, bumpers, tailgates, pillar trims, instrument panel, floor console, seating plastics, door trims
Assembly and drawing creation skills
3 to 5 years experience in GSD (surface) modelling using CATIA V5 and/or NX
Has worked on analysis of parts (draft, clash, clearance) in CATIA V5/NX.
