Responsibilities and DutiesLogistics: This includes logistics mapping and delivery management, including driver management.Planning and scheduling: You are responsible for planning and scheduling delivery routes, using the delivery software considering delivery deadlines and customer requirements.Transportation management: You will oversee the transportation of bakery products from the bakery to the customers. They need to ensure that the transportation is done efficiently and cost-effectively, while also ensuring that the products are delivered on time and in good condition.Dispatch coordination: You will be responsible for managing the dispatch process, which includes coordinating the scheduling of deliveries, allocating resources, and assigning tasks to the dispatch team. You ensure every item leaving the bakery is checked, signed and handed over the correct delivery personnel.Dispatch Quality control: You will be responsible for ensuring that the bakery products are delivered in good condition and meet the quality standards of the bakery. This may involve monitoring the dispatch process, conducting quality checks, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Coordinate with the production in charge if products and set and décor is as per customers requirements.Team management: The role may be responsible for managing a team of delivery drivers or other logistics personnel.
