Job description

Our client is a leading player in the Solar Industry with a global presence and major projects across India and overseas.
- Develop sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share in target markets both for corporate and channel sales in the solar industry.
- Develop, maintain and monitor the distribution network and drive channel sales.
- Develop business for Solar Products and EPC business by reaching out both to private and government sector.
- Work on adding big-ticket customers/sales projects. Prior track record of handling similar assignments with success is required.
- Feasibility analysis in co-ordination with the technical team.
- Liaison with concerned parties and market study and intelligence gathering.
- Manage and lead a team of sales/business development professional to meet the business targets.
- Will be responsible for key account management and develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
- Contribute in marketing strategy building and market pricing.
- Keep in touch with the latest developments in Solar PV technology, government policies and industry regulation related to solar energy.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- BE/B.Tech., in Electrical/E&C/Instrumentation. MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sales in the solar energy industry.
- Open for extensive travel in the allotted territory.
- Technically sound to understand the entire range of solar products that the company has to offer.
